THS?
We are a team of Seventh-day Adventist health professionals and ministry personnel passionate about implementing Christ’s method of reaching our community. We seek to establish new bodies of believers through comprehensive health evangelism.
MISSION
Our mission is to bring sin-burdened and hurting people in the greater Spokane area to a saving relationship with Jesus in order to restore total health (physical, mental/emotional, spiritual, and social).
Dr. John Torquato
Physician
John Torquato, MD is co-director at Total Health Spokane and is a Board Certified Family Practice physician. He currently runs a small clinic in Hayden, Idaho, as well as the North View Medical Clinic in Mead, WA. His clinics have been highly successful in turning around even severe disease in many patients with chronic illness by helping them make long-term lifestyle changes. Dr. Torquato is passionate about teaching and giving of his time towards people who wish to optimize their health regardless of their economic situation. He attributes his desire to serve his community to his deep faith, and finds his greatest joy in helping his patients discover the secret to lasting lifestyle change through the power of Jesus.
Pastor Wayne Kablanow

Pastor Wayne Kablanow - As the president of Total Health Spokane, Pr. Kablanow brings over 30 years of experience in pastoral ministry, church planting, and health evangelism. Pr. Kablanow's commitment, faith and quiet resolve have been a backbone for this training center. He will help awaken the best of your qualities as a convincing and logical biblical speaker, visionary leader, and dedicated soul-winner. Pastor Kablanow's passion is to reveal Christ and the plan of salvation through Scripture. “Ask the Pastor” will be a favorite class of Total Health Spokane students, as they tap into his years of experience answering challenging and timely Bible questions.
Erik Kelly, NP
Nurse Practitioner
Erik Kelly, NP is a family nurse practitioner in Spokane, WA. He works part-time in the office and volunteers part-time in the community. His passion is to become more and more like Jesus, and to minister to people like He did.
Lisa
Medical Minister
Lisa has background as a medical office administrative assistant, in addition to health evangelism training through Weimar Institute’s HEALTH program. While she enjoys the organizational aspect of ministry, her greatest joy is to watch God’s transforming power at work in people’s lives—bringing them into better health physically and spiritually as they are connected with Jesus.
Camilyn
Medical Minister
Camilyn graduated with religion from Union College. She was a missionary teacher in Cambodia shortly before joining Total Health Spokane. She grew up in the mission field, and that desire has grown even stronger.
Julie
Medical Minister
Julie is a registered nurse whose desire is to help people along the road to wholeness in all aspects of life. She enjoys outdoor activities, plant-based cooking, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Joel
Medical Minister
Joel is a graphic designer with culinary creativity and a heart of service. His cooking classes throw open the doors to a world of tasty, healthy, economical eating. This weekly class has become our most popular event. Joel also enjoys spending time one-on-one with people needing custom menu planning for specific health issues. He aims to help people find wholeness physically, mentally, and spiritually.
